If you would like to report any misconduct related to suspected fraud, discrimination/harassment, or suspected violation of labor laws where legally permitted, you can submit a confidential toll-free phone or web report here through our third party vendor Convercent.

• Submit a report:

The information you provide will be sent to relevant departments of Xiaomi Corporation headquarters by Convercent on a totally confidential and secure basis.

• Report processing:

Report will be reviewed and investigated by a dedicated department of Xiaomi Corporation headquarters, and communicated to the headquarters and/or local senior leadership team on a need-to-know basis. It is strictly prohibited to reveal a reporter’s personal information or reported content, or retaliate against a reporter. Report processing status will be updated on this hotline, so later on you can follow up on your report.

• Follow up on your report:

After you file a report, Convercent will provide you with an access number and ask you to create a password. The access number and password will allow you to monitor progress on your report and learn whether any additional information is needed from you to address your concern.

To maintain confidentiality, Xiaomi Corporation Integrity Hotline is operated by Convercent, an independent professional provider of corporate ethics and compliance programs and hotlines worldwide. Convercent's independence from Xiaomi Corporation is designed to give employees, business partners, and shareholders an added level of comfort and security that their reports will remain confidential. Your web-based report on this website will be routed initially to Convercent and then be promptly forwarded to the dedicated department of Xiaomi Corporation headquarters for review and investigation. Calls to the Xiaomi Corporation Compliance Hotline are toll-free and will be answered by a Call Center operated by Convercent and will be forwarded to the dedicated department. Convercent offers secure and confidential services 24 hours a day/7 days a week.


Xiaomi Corporation expects that reports made through the Xiaomi Corporation Integrity Hotline are made in good faith and are legitimate concerns that you believe should be investigated. All reports submitted will be given careful attention. If you wish to remain anonymous when making your report where legally permitted, we will respect that. We will treat your report confidentially.

1. What is the function of the Xiaomi Internal Control and Internal Audit Department?


Xiaomi Internal Control and Internal Audit Department is an independent, objective assurance and consulting team aiming to improve the operations' efficiency and effectiveness. It is guided by risk management, focuses on process standardization, and puts emphasis on financial internal control and key control activities designed to add value and improve the operations of Xiaomi Corporation and all its subsidiaries.


2. What type of issues should be reported?


The Xiaomi Corporation Integrity Hotline only allows you to report concerns related to suspected fraud, discrimination/harassment, or suspected violation of labor laws where legally permitted. See the list of issue types that may be reported through the Hotline:

• Accounting / Audit Related Complaints or Concerns

• Bribery and Kickbacks

• Compliance with Laws, Rules, and Regulations

• Conflict of Interest

• Expense Reporting (Expense Reimbursment Scheme)

• Gifts and Entertainment

• Information Security

• Intellectual Property

• Theft (Financial & Other)

• Other

For issues not listed here, you are encouraged to report them to local management.


3. Is a suspicion, but no proof enough for a report?


Anyone making a report must carefully consider the following two criteria before doing so:

• Are there serious signs of wrongful behavior?

• Do these signs justify investigating an associate or Xiaomi business partner who may in fact be acting legally?

Conducting investigations, gathering evidence that will stand up in court and instituting any proceedings that may be necessary is the responsibility of the dedicated department of Xiaomi Corporation headquarters. They receive support from experts in the specialized departments who have the necessary skills and authorization.


4. May I remain anonymous?


Yes but with Spain and Portugal to be excepted. According to the Spanish and Portuguese Personal Data Protection regulations, anonymous reports are not permitted. You, the reporter, must identify yourself when making a report. Your name and telephone number are mandatory for the purpose of your identification. If your identity cannot be verified the report shall not be processed and will be deleted.

Although reports can be made anonymously through this hotline where legally permitted, Xiaomi prefers that you identify yourself so that the company can obtain all facts and properly investigate allegations. All reports, including your details, are treated in confidence. The phone number and email address you provide in this form will only be used to contact you regarding this report.

Anonymous reporters are encouraged to return to the submitted report to check for feedback and follow-up questions.


5. How does Convercent keep me untraced, confidential and anonymous?


The Integrity Hotline system is designed to protect your anonymity. The Convercent system and report distribution are designed so that implicated parties are not notified or granted access to reports in which they have been named. Moreover, Convercent is contractually committed not to pursue a reporter’s identity.

Convercent does not generate or maintain internal connection logs containing Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, so no information linking your computer to Convercent would be made available if you choose to make a report online. Reports from your computer would come through a secure Internet portal which does not trace or show user screen names. If you still feel uncomfortable making a report on your work PC, you have the option of using a PC outside our work environment (such as one located at an Internet café, at a friend’s house, etc.) through the Integrity Hotline website.

Convercent does not trace phone calls or use Caller Identification. You will be asked to provide the same information that you would provide in an Internet‐based report and an interviewer will type your responses into the Integrity Hotline web site.


6. How does Xiaomi keep me confidential and protected?


Reports received from the Hotline will be processed strictly confidential and communicated on a need-to-know basis. During the course of investigation, the investigation team is not allowed to externally disclose investigation progress to anyone.

It is strictly prohibited to reveal a reporter’s personal information or reported content, or retaliate against a reporter. Anyone who violates this will be subject to severe disciplinary action up to employment termination.

If it is clear that the Xiaomi Corporation Integrity Hotline has been misused, i.e. if matters reported not in good faith that are so obviously without foundation that they do not require serious investigation, Xiaomi reserves the right to take legal or disciplinary action against the person making the report.


7. What happens after I submit my report?


At the end of your telephone call or web-based report, Convercent will provide you with an access number and ask you to create a password. The access number and password will allow you to monitor progress on your report and learn whether any additional information is needed from you to address your concern. The reporter could follow up the status of your report with access number and password.

Reports are entered directly on the Convercent secure server to prevent any possible breach in security. All reports online and by phone will be then forwarded to the dedicated department of Xiaomi Corporation headquarters for review and investigation. Once the review or investigation is completed, the dedicated department and relevant management will receive information on a need to know basis to review and resolution for appropriateness to ensure the case is resolved and appropriate action is taken. The case processing status will be updated through the Hotline so that reporter can monitor report status.


8. What if I remember something important about the incident after I file the report? Or what if the company has further questions for me concerning my report?


When you file a report at the Integrity Hotline web site or through the Integrity Hotline call center, you receive a unique access number and are asked to choose a password. You can return to the Integrity Hotline system again either by Internet or phone to access the original report to add more detail or answer questions posted by the company to get more information. We strongly suggest that you return to the site for follow-up. You and the company have now have entered into a “dialogue” where situations can be resolved, no matter how complex.


9. What if English is not my first language?


You can submit a report in any language by telephone and online.


10. How do I monitor the progress of my report?


At the end of your telephone call or web-based report, Convercent will provide you with a unique access number, which is the identifier for your report, and ask you to create a password, no matter whether you are anonymous or not. The access number and password will allow you to monitor progress of your report, to return to your report to include additional information, attach documents, and answer any questions the company might have and to follow up on your report.


11. What should I do if I lose my access number or password?


Because of the high level of confidentiality that is maintained for reports, if you lose your access number or password, you will be required to file a new report. You can mention in the new report that this matter relates to another report you supplied earlier.
